I thought I would share this since it is one of the last photos taken on my D200 before all hell broke loose and I ended up with a torn shutter. Looks like I will be using my D40 for at least a month while I ship this 3 pound hunk of metal and plastic to Oregon for repair.
I have never had a single problem with this camera for nearly three years and in an instant, it is completely unusable. I am now forced to use Canon equipment for the first time in my life and it is a little unsettling. I am reminded once again how different things are from Nikon to Canon especially when trying to shoot sports. Oh well, maybe work will help out with the hundreds of dollars necessary to fix the shutter or maybe I will try to bilk some money off whoever won the lotto. Donations now being accepted.
